Company

The company Fanepel - Comércio e Representações de Curtidos, Lda., founded in January of 1969, was born as a result of a dream of a man who likes challenges and that since very young, met and worked in the leather world: our Founding Partner and main associate Francisco Nelson Pereira Lopes, who has always been a leather agent that had the privilege and pride of being an agent for 25 years of Grupo Carvalhos, the the best Portuguese Group. Unfortunately, with the opening of the european market, the company was forced to expand its horizons and set out to conquer Europe and the world, always keeping its motto, which was work with the best so that could evolve to be a top level representant. We have managed to fulfill our goals by being close to our customers on a daily bases, and our represented brands, making periodic visits to them, in order to develop new products and new solutions, as well as being present in major international trade fairs such as: Lineapelle, Lineapelle Ásia, Micam, Gds, Moda Calzado, etc.

Philosophy

The companies and brands that we represent and there products come from various parts of the world, such as Italy, Spain, India, Pakistan, Turkey, China and Mexico. The leather used for the shoe industry is also of several types: cow lining, croutes suede, goat lining and upper, aniline, sheep and pig skin and several derivatives of leather sole.

Mission

With time evolution and market's demand, Fanepel expanded its range of products, also developing in other areas, such as the leather used for the auto sector, furniture, in synthetic products, fabrics, etc.
